Push it (free) or transfer it or give them your account if you can't push or transfer the domain.

Most of the domain registrars nowadays allow Free push within their own site.

Means If your domain is registered at Namepros.com then input the username of the buyer and the domain will land in his account.

If your domain name is registered at GoDaddy.com then select that domain click Change Account. And input the buyers details along with his or her email. This will send the buyer an email and he or she can accept the account change and the domain name will land in their account.

If it is registered in Domainsite.com then you need the Account Code of the buyer and then send that domain to that account.

Other registrars I don't know. Thanks.

I think before you push the domain you have to wait for 4 days after registration.
SO if you register the domain today you can push it to new owner only after 4 days.

I am pretty sure you can push it as soon as it is created and in your account. You don't have to wait 4 days.

I was referring to domains registered using myorderbox or Directi resellers.
Because I had to wait 4 days before I could push my domain at domains.creativeon.com

Sort of right. In your example, the domain name would be addressofsite.com - the host can add "www" as a subdomain.

Not sure if that is correct swimjenni, I think there is a
5 day delay for most registrars, as you have I believe - 5 days
to change your mind and get a refund (most cases). So I think
you have to wait this period of time.

If anyone knows different, please clarify!

Yes, the registry or the registrar (assuming that the latter isn't your host) do nothing for the "www".

so even when it says on domain reg sites enter domain here:

www.[textbox][ending list]

they aren't registering the www.??

or is this already registered.

(PS sorry for going off topic :( )

Correct! They add the "www" for familiarity and marketing.

You register mydomainisstupid.co.uk and your host will add the "www" for you. Not something to get worried about. :)
