Is this a hard or undo-able web business?... Let's say that i need a part for a wiget, and there are 1000's of type of wigets and makes and models...anyway..and I'm a do it your selfer wiget repair person...
1).is there a site that can search repair parts only?
2).would it be feasable to build a site that has "item search" only like for "Alot" of widets, cars, microwaves and lawn mowers?

Please no smart remarks...lol...I know yahoo and google...i'm thinking items #'s that will be links to how the customer can purchase "Not" links for the client to go and do the search and then find that they can't find the item # and so on....I hope this all make sense...

Any thoughts would be great!

I've read your post about 10 times, but still don't really understand it.

1).is there a site that can search repair parts only?

Repair parts for widgets? Why the heck would you 'repair' a widget? Unless you're on about a different type of widget, I really have no clue.

2).would it be feasable to build a site that has "item search" only like for "Alot" of widets, cars, microwaves and lawn mowers?

If you mean 'would it be legitimate', then yes, it would be, and I'm sure the other sites would be pleased that you're advertising their services.

Best help I can offer from deciphering your post.

I know..I'm having a hard time too!!! Let's try this
Is it possiable to build a site that is a yahoo or google search engine for Parts and parts numbers with add info.

Probably.

You could build a database of pages with these parts on, along with their prices, name, and other related information, then create scripts that will search those. The database would very likely have to be filled manually, which means ripping round hundreds of sites, but yes, it's possible.
