Is there a way to find out what sites are linking to any given page on the net?

Let's say you found a YouTube video, and wanted to ask Google what all the sites were that were linking to that page. (I imagine a search like this would have to be done via some search engine that knows what all the links everywhere are)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

You would do a google search like the following:
Code:
link:namepros.com

or...

link:http://youtube.com/urlhere

I know for sure it'll work with domains, I'm not 100% sure about URLs, but it should. It's Google.

Ah, thanks. Works with every domain/url/etc I throw at it, except any of mine. :D Figures. (don't worry, yes, I use regular analytics for that)

google won't tell you all the links, even with analytics or webmaster tools.

Yahoo siteexplorer is a little better.

I am realy starting to like an up and coming search engine

Majestic-SEO : Competitive Link Intelligence

These guys have been quietly crawling the web collecting data. They even make it easy to download the links report as CSV file for easy import into Excel.
