Officially Named The Zune?

I saw the thread in the Domain Discussion Forum about Microsofts new MP3 player being officially named the Zune. However, besides the gizmondo link provided in the thread, I could not find any other site that has this information...not even microsoft or news.com. I have speculations that this is not the MP3 players name.

It sounds... stupid. But then again, it is Microsoft we are talking about. I have been looking around and havn't seen any truly alternate reliable sources with the same information...
