this was a cheap lesson.

be glad that you invested like 20 dollars for the lesson. others pay much more until they realize that they have to read several months on forums, google, etc. before they start registering any domain name. domain biz is like any other biz. you have to educate yourself before starting and you always have to be up to date and read the biz news. i was reading your post in the "celeb" thread and at least it seams like you are willing to learn. others just keep registering domain names until they realize that their names are worth 0$. then they just give up and you never see them again.
