Last night I was parking some new .com domains and I decided to go ahead and park a bunch of .info domains I own and which had just been sitting in my account waiting for possible development. I thought, why not?

After spending an hour or so tweaking the key word settings, templates, photos, etc... (there were about 60 of them), I wondered whether I had just wasted a hour.

Does anyone get traffic on parked .info domains? These were not single dictionary words. They were things like ChicagoMuseum.info or AlabamaTravelGuide.info.

Any thoughts?

L+ lesser extension = ?

I registered Binfo.info and Yinfo.info, the last L+info available at the time. I am not sure if they might be worth more than reg fee to someone (only $3.50 initial cost each) or if they are completely undesirable

I park them out of habit, didn't do any optimization besides picking a keyword. Most get zero visitors, some get 1-10 visitors a month, the top ones are getting 1 click every 32 days for a few cents. Im with SEDO, not sure if other places would be better.

o-b-a-m-a.info is my big earer at 0.16 for the last 32 days, that should cover the 99 cent reg fee but not a renewal :/

You need to think about developing it really because .info's don't get many type ins. It should be possible to get a good return from developing it as it covers an interesting topic.

There's another thread where a NamePros member was discussing the ratio of total visitors to type in visitors and for his developed site is 5000 - 8000 people a month compared with 30 - 40 type ins a month for the same undelveloped .com he owns.
