How much are .cc domains worth ? Just wanna know

Personally, not much luck selling .cc. Just holding now...waiting for the big offer. Got a stash renewing every year.

Even I'm having near zero-luck selling .cc domains. I had put up 5L.cc for sale at the NamePros Live Auction but it just got a bid of $150.

Seriously, though it's a two character .cc domain which is perhaps better than most two letter .cc domains due to the presence of 5L which stands for 5 letter.

Your opinions please?

Well random 5 letter .cc domains aren't worth anything so your 5L.cc doesnt have that much dev potential. Anyway LLL.cc are still available so 2 character .cc wont be fetching very high prices.

The minimum wholesale value for a CC.cc is $100 nowadays. I was talking about 5L.com's not 5 letter .cc domains.

I know, read my post more carefully. I said since random LLLLL.cc will probably never have value your domain 5L.cc doesnt have much development potential. You say the minimum is 100$ and you got 150$ so its ok since like I said it doesnt have much development potential.

$150 is a good price, ebay was selling at around $70 a piece. Back in my heyday.

Dont know if there is any hype of this, but I just sold/received payment/transfered factoring.cc for $300 in Sedo.

My intention was actually not to sell this for $300 and rather wanted this to go for auction, just to try out the market.

But I did a rookie mistake and instead of setting the offer I got from the person for $250 to auction, I made an backoffer to him telling him that "if he was interested then I would accept $300 and make it go to auction".

First time selling in Sedo, so I actually did not know that, when I the seller make an offer back, the seller cant make it go to auction Now I know .

And a second (or so ) after I made the backoffer, the seller accepted the deal, and I was stuck not able to make it go to auction. But a deal is a deal so I went with the deal and learned a rookie mistake.

Imo the seller (EDIT: I offcourse mean the buyer ) got a good deal, at least I hope it is one from NP, so it still is in "family" and did not go to "strangers".

But then its not the best of names.

i regged a few cc domains as a long time investment, but now im actually thinking on using some of them for my websites.
the only thing i was half-worried about was that .cc is a regional domain and that Google will tie it to Cocos Islands lol))
but yesterday i added one of my cc to Google webmaster tools and i saw it was actually possible to specify any geographical targeting for it. great!
this means Google treats it like a common extension, not a regional domain.
maybe most people already knew that, but for those who were doubting just like me, this might be interesting fact.
