Hm, I'm guessing that free magazine subscriptions have become something of an illness with me :) The three piles of magazines you see in the pic attached here represent last month's and this month's magazine subscriptions! (Not pictured are boxes of stored magazines in the walkin closet in the bedroom D-:)

Between today and yesterday alone I got: Star magazine, Comic Buyer's Guide, Cruising World, Hollywood Life, PC Magazine, Boating Life, US News & World Report, another Star magazine, Go Boating, Tips & Tricks (video gaming mag), DV (digital video magazine), Home Business, Workbench, and last (but not least) Maxim ;)

Stop me, before I subscribe again!

TOSS THEM AWAY????!!!! That means all those trees died for nothing! ;)

I actually do read alot of what I get and use alot for ideas for my blogs and various posts and such. Plus, I usually don't post a freebie post unless I also sign up for it.

I have 2 free subscriptions, I read them both. If I had as many as you Dave, I would just be tossing them away as they take up way too much room!

Dave, those gold $-$ are real life-size glasses you put on your head?

I thought you photoshopped it.

But that's them, in the picture, sitting next to some kind of little robot?

The only subscription I have is a paid one, for TIME magazine. Once finished reading, I just recycle them, unlike Dave who keeps a stack for 'oragami' D-:

Yup, Those are my "Making Big $$ On The Net" glasses.. unfortunately they don't work too well! The robot is from the movie "Robots" (which I've never seen) that I bought at the local thrift store for 50 cents.

EDIT: see attached pic.

I get a lot of free magazines too. I just throw them away though if the cover doesn't look interesting enough.

I love the feel of paper as opposed to e-books, feel, touch and lie back with the content. Maybe you guys will find some freebies good for us guys here in Spain...

I get 2 free- PC and a boating one. I like and read both. After I'm done, they normally sit for others to read or take.

Hm, gonna start putting a sticker over the address label advertising my local website (www.64836.info) and start lugging them over to the local waiting rooms.. now there's an idea!

There might be a business plan in there somewhere for you Dave, providing magazines on a monthly basis to dentists, doctors, chiropractors, medical specialists, therapists, hair and nail salons, etc.

Personally, I would be glad to stop having to read the same 2001 issue of Sports Illustrated every time I see my psychiatrist. And he wonders why I'm crazy.

Believe me, I know the feeling! My barber has Time magazine from the '90's, I'm sure...
