Today while doing some back-end maintenance I came across the NP$ escrow archive which apparently had NP$ frozen in escrow since 2006... By frozen, I mean that one party initiated a buy / bid promise which automatically removed the NP$ from the sellers account & placed them in escrow, For one reason or another the buyer never followed through and paid for the NP$ so they remained there till the seller notified a staff member of the situation.
For some reason there was a lack of communication between sellers / previous administration and or previous Administration may have accidentally forgot about the pending NP$ in escrow.
Today I did a clean-up of the escrow system and cancelled all the frozen NP$ transactions all the way back to 2006, pushing the NP$ back to the sellers accounts they originated from.
Accidents do happen and we appoligize for any inconvenience the long term freeze may have caused anyone.
