Now this is short: How much would you pay for a 1-letter domain?

There are three websites

Q.com Quest Software (Q is not so hated after all)
X.com PayPal (one of the few things I like about paypal is their domain)
Z.com Nissan (If they can't get nissan.com z.com is their consolation prize)

No one can answer this question right now. If the other 1 letter domains are ever released for auction we will have the answer.

Personally, I don't think owning a L.com is much better than a LL.com or LLL.com. It is hard to make a brand from 1 letter.

That being said, I am sure they would sell for a lot on the novelty factor alone.

IMO, Worst 1 letter .com domain will not go for less than $1.25 - $1.5M

Agreed. Just think how brandable X.com is

I personally like one letter domains A LOT. You have to admit there is not a big difference it terms of brand ability in two and three letter domains but one letter domains are a whole different animal. Imagine if Google owned G.com, now that would be kickass.

I'd buy G.com for $2MM right now.

If ICANN decides to sell them, have them e-mail me.

Honestly, they should be worth $10mil+. However not that many people that would want it have that much money so probably between 1-5mil.
