I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

“.now” works best when it forms a clear call-to-action (buy.now, start.now, act.now). Otherwise adoption may remain limited compared to stronger extensions.

That was my original thesis as well. But while that obv remains a strong pairing, that belief has been invalidated.

Most businesses that are launching on .now are choosing .now without a "verb" coming before .now. Of course, .now always includes a cta (even without the verb) and brands/smbs feel any word type pairs well with it.
You can see here the % of time businesses choose the verb + .now pairing - and it's quite small compared to other options. Always follow the data.

Interesting & yup real adoption data often tells a different story than our initial assumptions.

in general currently the adoption widely exceeded the expectations comparing to other strong extensions when they were in its age as a new born tld .
Of Course i am not talking about .com extension .

Yes “limited”compared to .com of course But for a newborn TLD, the adoption has actually exceeded expectations.

or "Noun+Now" like "Bitcoin Now" (for a coin exchange market)
or "Name+Now" like "David Now" (as the personal -or portfolio- website of a person called David)
or "Geo+Now" like "Paris Now" (for a travel website)
or "Pronoun+Now" like "You/Me/We Now" (etc...)
or "Adverb+Now" like Quickly/Gently/Softly Now (etc...)
So when you think with examples, you see that there is no any limit for the use of Now.
