Why haven’t all these new sites opted for largely available one-word names?

This pattern is actually very common among people just starting a business. They usually use two, three, four, or even five words to stand out in the market.

I still remember a few years ago when I registered the name FriedChicken.id and found it was available. Meanwhile, in another city, someone was already using the name FriedChickenMaster.id.

.now shows in the top view of the search at Porkbun, they also frequently promote it on the homepage next to .com

On Dynadot you have to scroll a little down out of initial view and it's there around #20 but still in main results.

Does not appear in Namecheap & Spaceship main search...
