I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

go for it only 16-20k a year to renew

The renewal price was very high, probably the reason the previous owner (DN) let it expire.

Theoretically, if cash flow were not an issue, who thinks there is strong ROI potential for this name?

Assuming a 5-year hold with $20K annual renewals, so $100K all in, on the bet that .now eventually takes off.

$16–20k renewals kill ROI unless you already know who’s buying it.”

it's a kingmaker name - and will be an incredible buy by an end user who launches on it.

It is not meant for investors (and that is why it's priced as such).

Congrats! Since it's not a charm price, was it listed as MO or BIN+MO? I'm wondering if the latter, deemed the worst by many, actually works fine. It's the classic anchoring after all. (Yeah, they now have a BIN or contact owner option too).
BIN only sale set at $15,000.

So, it seems Shane Cultra's brain fart (".now fizzled") opened the floodgates.

I really hope these are not just new Top Domains acquisitions.
