Notification for PMs being identified as junk by hotmail

Hi

In my user CP I have my options set to "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages". I've been using this feature for months with no problems. Until this week.

The namepros email notification is set up with my hotmail email account. This week, hotmail has been routing the alerts into my junk folder.

The email address for the alerts is not on my "blocked senders list" and has been added to my "Safe senders" and Safe mailing lists". I even added the email address to my contacts but hotmail keeps identifying the email alert as junk.

Anyone else having this problem or know anything about it? The only thing I can think of is that the hotmail server is identifying anything from namepros as junk. Of course, if I'm the only one having this problem, it's something else.

the way i see it is use another email to receive your pm notification.

I had a same issue,but moved notification emails to inbox before delete them.

I also blocked some email addresses,but still receive emails from blocked emails or even blocked domains :|

For whatever reason, the problem went away. I don't know if something I did eventually worked but the problem is fixed.

I do not receive any notifications of new messages and it's been like that for a long time.

Well, for whatever reason hotmail is delivering the notifications to my junk folder again. I haven't changed anything since it started working again so the whole thing seems arbitrary. It's pretty annoying.
