Not listed in Google search

I've finished the website 2 weeks ago did my SEO but my website is still not listed on google search. Is there any mistake from my side ?

Have you submitted a sitemap to Google? Alternatively, you can try including the site in your signature as well.

If you type this in google: site:yoursite.com (replace domain name as appropriate) you can see if your domain is in the google index.
How well it currently ranks is another matter but it can take time for a site to improve ranking.

Your site is new: for new sites, indexing can take few days/weeks or even months. You can try to improve the indexing speed via getting some relevant/quality backlinks.

Also, can you show us the URL of your site?

Just launching a website does not mean that you will get listed in Google search. First, your website needs to be cached first and you have to spend sometime in link building. Thereafter, you can check your ranking in Google.

getting a site indexed in one thing and getting the site found on search result is quite another. 2 weeks is no nearly enough time for SERP ranking. even if you are targetting keywords that are remotely competitive, you need more time than just 2 weeks.

you mentioned you did some SEO, not sure what has been done so far but you need to keep building backlinks on a regular basis till your site gets ranked. after that, you will need ocational link building but you can never give up on promoting your site. its like they say, you snooze, you lose...

Build quality links from quality websites and you will do well. To find out if Google has indexed your website do this search site:your url minus the http or www.

Are you looking to index the website or to rank well for any search in the search engines? If you want to get it indexed, then just submit your website to google, and then build a few good quality backlinks, and give it some time to get indexed.
To check if the site is indexed just search "site:yourdomain.com" in google and you will see whether the site is indexed or not.

But if you are looking for some rankings in google for particular keywords searched, then you are in a hurry. 2 weeks is very less for sites to get ranked and judged well by google. So give it more time, meanwhile you can build backlinks, and do the SEO practices on the site.

Firstly, two weeks is two early to expect google rankings. It takes around two months to get SERPs with SEO. Golden rule of SEO is to be actually patient about the results. SEO is a real hard and time consuming work which can prove really worthy in the long run.

However you can monitor your progress using webmastertools for the no of backlinks being indexed, no of pages being indexed etc so that you can be on track.

Where did you come up with this "Golden Rule" I would like your references on this matter. Really, just becuase it took you a long time doesn't mean this applies to every market. It all depends one what the target keyword phrase is and what the competition is or is not doing and how well you have optimized your site. Just because someone has stated that they did SEO doesn't mean that they knew what they were doing.

The best way to get Google attention is to simply add Analytics, webmaster tools, and to submit an XML site map. Placing links on very active sites also will help. But you have to get indexed before you ever will rank!!

I have seen plenty of new sites rank very well out the gate. If you have never heard of Google giving preference to new sites then you proabally should not to giving advice.

Just check the <meta name="robot"> whether it's index or noindex.In case of " Noindex" search engines would not crawl your site.And if this not the case,then try to add manually your site URL in google.
