Hi

Does anyone know:

1. How to check if a website is banned from Google Search Results?
2. How to check if a website is banned from Google Search Results for some specific keyword?
3. When this Page Rank's Update is gonna be finished?

yes, if you type the full website url in to the search box you get the so called "two bullets" which 99.9% of the time means your website has been removed from the index.

Here is an example of a banned website

here is an example of a website which just hasnt been indexed yet

its a little harder to tell if you are banned for a specific keyword. If you find that your sites ranks well for

allinanchor:keyword

but doesnt appear in the first 100 for the pure keyword search then there is a good chance that some sort of filter or penalty has been applied.

the third question, well that could be anyones guess. They seemed to start the PR update and then stopped it half way through, some datacenters show updated pr, some dont. i would imagine the rest will be updated once the new infrastructure is in place.

I did that on 3/8 because I'm using a domain for my company that I think was penaltied by Google for doing a redirect by the previous owner. I haven't received a reply yet

you may not actually get a reply but if your site is clean it should be re-indexed provided there is a decent amount of content on it.

Hasn't been yet. Do you have any experience with how long it takes them to either reply or fix it?

yes xg9.net is one of my domains, if you look at in web archive it used to be a gabbling site and was banned by google. Google has just re-included a few days ago, it is no longer banned and therefore all 3 bullets show up.

I will try to find another banned domain to show you an example

you should have no problems, the site looks clean and is showing plenty of links in msn and yahoo :tu:

the domain was blacklisted on some spam sites when i got it and i got those removed.. but ppl are still using the domain for spam.. im getting many catchall emails saying the messages couldnt be delivered.

This is what I see... What 3 bullets are they talking about? I see the five at the bottom. Why does that mean it's banned, just because one page is indexed? so I guess my site www.greengambler.com is banned too?

Well that sucks! Ohh well, I'm off the gambling kick anyway Moved on to bigger, better and more legal things..
