I have been receiving the days drop list from pool by email which clearly states that if you would like to backorder any this must be done by 18.00 gmt.

Ok so why is it not 18.00 gmt now and the 2 names I had been looking at have already been re-registered.

Just seems unfair. why state a time when the domain has already gone .

Are you sure that the original owner did not re-register them? You get 60 days (after the deletion date) I think to do so if you were the original owner...

Yep been looking at this name for 2 days now :kickass:

pool is shite now unless you "PAY" them because a few names have been re-regged before the 6 gmt deadling.

That could be because people offer them more money than its owrth to secure it, its a bit stupid, try the support, you never know.

All I am saying is they sent me an email with a list of domains dropping today, They said 18.00 gmt time was the last time you could backorder, the names I wanted were re-registerd 1/2 hour before at least ???????????????????????????

Post everywhere that they do that, its silly for the money, complain, do you have any current domains with them?

I've noticed that alot of times the registrar that actually snaps the name for pool, snapnames, etc. has it registered and awaits the aution to follow. May be the same for this one ...

Stupid question, but what's the time difference between you checking that
specific email and their sending it to you (meaning what time you got it)?

Sometimes a lot can happen in so little time.

unfortunately pool works a bit starge from time time
nice glitch to add within many.

I bet 10NP$ that they won't respond propperly the support request (if they respond)

lol...thats really not fair and appropriate for pool to do that,,

for drop lists, deleting domains lists etc ... I recommend expireddomains.com . The charge is around $79 for an annual membership... but apart from providing daily lists they have a very nice search interface.... not to mention the fact that you can download expired domains from the past couple of years (millions of domains) that have not yet been re-registered. They also give you a software free for easy searching But I personally use my own custom built php/mysql software for searching.
pool etc are okay for backordering ... but IMO nothing better than expireddomains for these lists..
