BackOrder ??s

Spaceship Spaceship

Have been getting my feet wet in the backorder market for past few weeks and have a couple of ??s.

Had a .com name backordered w/ Pool and GoDaddy that expired yesterday. (SnapNames service was already taken.)

Checked Whois this morning w/ these results:

Domain Name: FORPC.COM
Registrar: 1 ENAMECO.
Whois Server: whois.enameco.com
Referral URL: http://www.enameco.com
Name Server: NS.BUYDOMAINS.COM
Name Server: THIS-DOMAIN-FOR-SALE.COM
Status: ACTIVE
Updated Date: 11-apr-2004
Creation Date: 11-apr-2004
Expiration Date: 11-apr-2005

ForPC.com now redirects to enameco.com
:-/
1)Is there a way to figure out how the name was acquired? ie What BackOrder Service?

2)What time of day (GMT) does the actual expiry occur? Midnight at end of day GMT?
I put in for it w/ Pool around 9PM PST4/11 and Pool showed me putting in for it on 4/12, apparently too late.

3)BTW, do you think name was worth backordering in 1st place?:-/

TXIA:-/

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Buydomains owns it which can only mean one thing, enameco caught it for them. They either are catching drops for themselves are catching them for a bigger fish, eg. snap, godaddy, pool etc.. Best thing to do is ask enameco if they offer a backorder service or if they are working with someone. That information should be public.

DropWatch.com used to track this info at:
http://www.dropwatch.com/Bids/

but they stopped in February. That's someone at NP's site. I haven't been able to find anyone else tracking that and winning bids since, though...
