Not able to register a name

hi

i had found a great name yesterday.. a .us

it was available yesterday on godaddy

now when i go to register it on godaddy then it says "reserved name"

or any other registrar then it says that the domain is "taken"

whois lookup of the domain shows that it is still available .. please help

Some domains are simply reserved .......

You can't depend on most Registrar sites to be accurate either when it comes to Domains being available .... Many do not block all reserved names and dont use "Real Time" whois.

but godaddy itself yesterday said that it was available and today it is saying that it is reserved?

Try another registrar. GD has many "reserved" names. Be careful with the names you search. When you see something is free and you like it get it at once to avoid issues like this
