I am a noob to this whole web design thing. I have designed them in the past with dreamweaver and some photoshop but they were kind of bad looking. First off I need a place to put my stuff. Does anyone know where I can get a really good free host? I want to eventually be able to have a forum and user logins. Does anyone know a free place without ads or banners, hi speed, that supports this? Another thing too, once I register should I get a domain name right away?? If so how can I get a domain name using my NP$ and is that for a year or six months or what?

Can someone help?

Well, for hosting, you need to determine how much space you need. There are alot of bannerless - free hosts around. You can try the following NP Forums; there might be something in there for you:

As for getting a domain name, you definately should, IMHO. It builds an identity for your business and gives you the professional aspect of business.

If you want to register a domain name with your NP$, you can register it through the NamePros registration system:

http://www.namepros.com/domainreg.php?

Or you could try in the NP$ Sales and Auctions Forum:

Hope this helps, and good luck with your venture!

That is okay. I have someone that is willing to host me I am just waiting on a domain name. It will take a bit until I can get 525 NP$ to get a domain name. I wanted to work on a design for a layout while waiting. The thing is, I don't know how to design. I would really appreciate help, but I can't find anyone to teach me. I know it is an incredibly hard thing to teach, but I would love to learn. I would even be willing to pay NP$ to be taught!

Awesome. I want to make a professional looking site. Many people say go to good-tutorials or other sites but they all look too basic and simple. Can you help me design something professional looking that doesn't look cheap or begginnerish?
