Domain Noob!

I'm a total noob to all this, but this sort of thing really interests me, i don't expect becoming SUPER rich off this but it would be ideal to make some sort of profit, rather than sitting on the computer doing nothing. I was just wondering what's a good and reliable site to buy and sell domains? And has any experiences domian-er got any tips for a noob like me? Thanx

This is a good site to buy and sell domains - a couple other popular ones are Sedo.com and Afternic.com.

There are many other places to buy and sell domains, many other ways to acquire domains, however it would be best to head over to the section I linked to and read the posts there.

thanx for the quick replies guys...i have a qustion, if you register a domain from a site for about £20 a year and then sell it, what happens to that £20 a year? do you still pay it once you have sold it? sorry if this is a stupid question

Hi Elvenmunky,

Once you've sold it to someone else, it will now be their responsibility instead of yours to pay the annual fee.

ok ive registered my first domain with godaddy.com, and listing it in sedo.co.uk but im not sure how to much to offer :S

i got it registered from godaddy at a really cheap price and its a .com aswell
