Hello,
I am selling my fake news generator site (Fake News Generator - Create fake news stories and practical jokes to fool your friends!) that I made about a year ago. It's been increasing in traffic, but doesn't get much revenue. Also included in sale: NUB.co.in (so you have both).
I designed, coded, and wrote all of the articles myself. Some of my friends gave me ideas, but all of the content is 100% unique.
Check out the site, it's pretty funny and hopefully someone out there will like it.
It works two different ways:
Method #1:
1. Jerk sends link to noob: Barack Obama found trying to smuggle 100 lbs of marijuana across border in Washington, replacing 'Barack' with noob's first name, 'Obama' with noob's last name, etc.
2. Noob opens up page, sees a defamatory article written about him, and freaks out!
3. Jerk sends article to his friends and everyone laughs!
Method #2:
1. Jerk visits Fake News Generator - Create fake news stories and practical jokes to fool your friends! to setup the article.
2. Jerk creates the article he wants, selecting from a list of topics. Some topics use a custom template design to make the article realistic (e.g. Surfing article uses a surfing template, Plastic Surgery article uses a health template).
3. Jerk sends article to his friends and everyone laughs!
Administration:
Requirements: PHP4+. There is no mySQL database, just a couple PHP/HTML files and images.
Adding an article: Super easy. Just duplicate an existing article and change the content around to your liking and viola!
