please can you help.

I volunteered to create a portal for a local childrens sports club.

I thought a blog or cms system would do, but finding it hard to even decide on which one. I've never used a cms / blogging script before. I was going to use static pages, with myself entering all the information, each week by editing html pages.

It needs to be very very simple system, allow their team coaches to enter the information and be able to edit it, or delete it. Displaying three match reports, per page, then the system adds more pages.

I think what you are looking for is esentgially a cms which can maintain teams matches newsroom and some other local stuff...

Just go to www.sourceforge.net and search for phpmysport and you will end up with a good open source solution...

I have used it personally and it is pretty good. Let me know if that was what you were looking for.,..
