Hi All Domainers

Can anybody explain and answer the following:

After reviewing Sedo's marketplace auctions for a while, I've noticed that domains with a No Reserves are getting far more bids (sales) whereas domains listed with a reserve, even if its only a 99 dollar reverse are not getting as much bids (sales) and a lot of them are better domains as well.

Can anybody explain why is this the case???

here's 2 examples which are currently on Sedo's marketplace:

need-to-sell-my-house-fast.com - hand reg 19 May 2013
domains is on no reserve and has got a $1000 bid

grannyhookups.com - hand reg 13 Jan 2013
domains is on no reserve and has got a bid of $380

Questions:

1. Why do people bid a high amount straight away on a No Reserve, whereas they can bid the min of $60 and wait and see if there is any other interested parties, if not they could save them tons of dollars.

2. Are these bids legitimate

3. How to people gets these newly hand regged domains in Sedo's marketplace

4. How does a domains with some many hyphens come into the marketplace auction, let alone get such a high bid (for that domain) - This domain was not promoted via the $50 listing fee.
