But the fact that GoDaddy (parent company of Uniregistry) uses

godaddy.top
http://www.godaddy.top

as forwarder leads to the idea that they know it actually very well.

They don't support it, so looks that they decided to drop it at Uni as well.

And in MANY ccTLDs GD is NOT accredited also, including very interesting like .ST
With some ccTLDs they act as reseller under German Key-Systems (RRPproxy.net).

In .PRO they were accredited after ~12 years and after TONS of requests, just example.

I was surprised to see .top on the list.

Amongst other factors, the 'Most Malicious TLD" list was likely a consideration.

.Top, for example, is currently the 5th worst spam TLD... with over 22% of its registered domains spamming.

Other researchers are compiling other 'Malicious' lists for malware distribution, typo-squatting, phishing, adware, etc., and more than a few are on the 'no longer supported' list cited.
