Imagine my suprise...

Kenneth Parks,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google
AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:

- Gambling-related content

---------------------

Further detail:

Gambling-related content: Google believes strongly in the freedom of
expression and offers broad access to content across the web without
censoring search results. However, Google policy does not permit the
placement of Google ads on sites with gambling-, casino-, or
lottery-related content. We have found your site to contain content of
this nature. Please review our policies
(https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US) for a complete list
of site content not allowed on web pages.

Ok, I'm gonna puke now... excuse me

you will probably find that the sites you have come across that do have the code, the accounts were obtained via another site they run and they just run the code on those sites as well.

What makes it almost more laughable is that they have a solid AdWords base that advertises with casino keywords that pays well. I use www.acehigh.us as one and am plenty pleased with the RPC thus far.
Technically, it's just an "informational" site, not a "to-gamble" site. (See most TV commercials in the US)

We are making an attempt to help gambling related sites with www.Casiknow.com if anyone is interested. :)

Same restrictions with adult content too. They have a weird double standard going, considering they dont have such restrictions on their AdWords system. I'm guessing it's maybe because they're scared people and organisations will boycott buying their stock on moral grounds, but that doesn't explain the double standard.

yes, this is strange. So how does adwords explain to the advertisers that no website would running their code?

Allan, when you say informational as compared to
to- gamble, do you mean without links to gamble sites?

Is that website Google approved? I've been wondering exactly how strict the gambling ban is. I want to have a website that mentions the existence of online of poker and online casinos and that you can win money there. Without offering any poker / casino games myself and without linking to any actual casino websites. I wanted to mail the Adsense team about that but if you already did ask them I'd like to hear what they said. Thanks.

Good thing I saw this I was about to put it on one of my pages with "gambling related" content". Ah well. I hear they pay really well though...
