Not sure if anyone has noticed this, but numerics going to 10n are all gone when they start with multiple 0's. It appears that the more zeros it starts with the better. For example, numerics starting with three or four zeros going out to 9n are all gone, and with ALL of the main extensions i.e .net. .org, etc... so a big run on 9n and 10n when there are 0's in front.

Anyway, having numerics starting with a 0, or a couple of 0's, appears to have done a reverse and are the most sought after among Chinese buyers.

Hi jyp, thanks. I like the 0's in front. Our Chinese friends seem to like those the most. I also realize that 0 is considered a lucky number in China. It was a dumb American rule that made a lot of people miss out.

Thanks jyp, will do.

here are a couple of my favorites, because of the zeros.
000015.net
000068.net

I also have a few 6 digit .coms starting with two zeros.

Another thing that I can't quite figure out, is why the numerics .net is a bigger seller to Chinese than the .com. It seems with numerics, .net are more popular than .com. There are hardly no numeric .nets for sale at all, and there are tons of .coms for sale. This is a very tricky game. It's almost as if N + .net is better than N + .com.

What are you basing this on ?

Whilst I am aware the .nets do better with the Chinese folk I doubt you could put it above .com

7n.cc's were well ahead of net for a long time in registrations.

Hmm, as I've stated too many times that zero is a good number to have.

It was perpetuated being negative back in the fall when numerics took off and there was misinfo that they zero looked like the letter o so that was supposedly confusing to Chinese people!

A load vof rubbish that somehow blew up into no one then wanting domains with zero which led to lowered values.

However I think now people finally realize this as simply erroneous info and want zeros now since they were the last to be regged.

Read the thread on the dreaded 4 & zero for more data!
