discuss Early Bird 9N...

So... yeah. I admit it. I've been looking through some of the better patterns from 7N thru 9N. Yes, I have a problem. I know it and I've accepted it.

But I did want to point out that pretty much all of the "great stuff" is gone from 7N and 8N category already -- the early bird special is over. And now, the "early bird" for good 9N's is starting to show signs of closing... There's still some good 888nnn888.com's ... Which are gone from 7N and 8N.

Just sayin'.


And for the love of domaining remember:
Patterns are good. No 4's and no 0's (unless the 0 is at the end).

Because of that I only regged palindromes with a lot of 8.

Yep..that was what I attempted to do this morning with a good success I think..
I was able to get names like

Yes I think I got the last 14 great ones containing only 8s and 9s and numeric that contains only those 2 digits seem to be the most registered ones according to my researches .

Good, because that is the future, imo, I feel they are easy to read and when incorporating triples are quite memorable, I have just relisted 888008008 on godaddy auctions

I have an opinion that 4 numbers in a row creates confusion, do I own any like that.......yes but not my favorites,, 778777877 is easier to read imo

288222288 does not look attractive ...... to me, no point splitting them up, it's what they look like when placed together, just my view, others may disagree though

and why you shuld look at it as 288 222 288 and not like 288222288 ?
because of the same reason you look at a 2 or more words domain where the last letter of the first word is the same as the first of the second one...it confuses, but when you SPELL it, it is something different..
here is the same thing... where you spell it to somebody, it sounds ok..
maybe i am wrong... but some worth will have.. i hope..

My opinion is that in such long number combinations I would definitely avoid ambiguous numbers like 2 and 7 f.e. and stick with what Chinese like the most 9 and 6.
With that said good 9N patterns are those that can be easily split like

xxx xxx xxx
xxxx x xxxx

or that have a very good immediate pattern; by immediate I mean that when you look at the entire name you spot something meaningful Chinese wise.

7 is also good, and 2 with 8 make a good combination..
ok, they are not my best ones, but worth something more reg fee

Yes there are combinations with 9 but I have taken the best ones already and others were taken even before.

7 is not that good, is the least impressive number after 4

2 is not a good name in northern China

mayazir, I have already suggested you to not register so much and to be very careful with what you buy; moreover do not forget that you are posting your names on a domainer forum where competition is fierce and where you can find "colleagues" who will tell you that your name sucks just to try to buy it off cheap from you. It has happen before and it will happen again.
Obviously it was not referred to anyone specific or in this thread.
