Hi all, as you all probably know the domain property(dot)com just went for an amazing $750,000 recently.

MrProperty(dot)com has just dropped at snapnames with 11 people bidding for it, while this of course is nowhere near the same league as Property(dot)com for obvious reasons (typins) I think its also a great name for the right end user with cash to spent on development/advertising.
I would love this name but it'll be out of my buget :td:

If I remember rightly MrRealestate(dot)com went for about $6000

How much do you think MrProperty(dot)com will go for ? A few NP's going if you're the closest. :)

I'm going to say around $5000 just because it's worth just a little less than MrRealEstate.com.

I think it will probably go for around $7,500. On the basis I would pay $3,500 for it, and on snap names it will double what I would be willing to pay easily.

Could go a lot higher.

All the best

lol - Do you have any 'reg fee' names that you would like to get rid of?

Personally, it doesn't do it for me either (is kind of "corny" to quote mole), however I can see how it will have high value to the right sector. It's very brandable IMO.

Well, people do say Beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)

You may just be the closest on this one Mole, vaxis & saggy are not there (unless they're incognito) there are only two others that I think may get into a bid war over this perhaps ? I have'nt seen them go too high before though.

Currently $100 with 2 days to go.

Sexmags(dot)com has just dropped too !!! Alot of people in this one !

Wow im surprised that a dopmain like this would actually start getting that high.

MRproperty? Why Mister? Why would the combination of Mr and Property Appeal so much?

IMO because it's short, very brandable, massive potential market, easy to remember and could be used in various ways, ie property sales, rentals, information & advice for new buyers, resale tips etc and it would'nt have to be concentrated in one specific area.

Although this name would not get 831 direct monthly type in's like property.com does - there is potential to cover the same areas with this domain but it would take some investment to make it compete (not $700,000 either !)

That's just the way I see it ! :) - There are similar existing websites out there that use the "Mr" theme - http://www.mrcoffee.com/ is one that springs to mind. JMO

If mrrealestate went for $6000. why wouldn't mrproperty go for more? Property is a more diverse keyword than real estate, real estate is only real property as opposed to property being both real and personal property. Either way, I vote $2000, even though to me it's a more accurate domain than real estate, but because the term more often used it real estate, I have to quote a lower price. Especially since they are viewed as one in the same.
