domain NewYorkVanRentals.com appraisal

New here and just starting to grab names after spending a few weeks reading through the forum. Great forum by the way.

One of my first purchases was an expired domain: NewYorkVanRentals.com.

I think it's kind of long, but, not surprisingly, there are dozens of van rental businesses in Manhattan and the boroughs and many ads from not just the big boys like uHaul and Avis but from local small van rental companies as well.

People rent vans all the time. You can rent a van to move or transport people from the airport to a hotel or to an outing, etc.

Not bad, but I noted that exist the "nyvanrental" site which I don't know whether is a registered business or not, in the case it be, not sure but I understand it would imply legal issues due the very similar name in meaning

So now letting aside the above and supposing no problem I think you could get low - mid xxx. Maybe not easy and not sure though. You should try offer it to people in the field

Thanks. I have gathered quite a few contact emails from the searches I have done (both from their websites and from Whois info) and plan to start sending some out tomorrow.

Although a recent Google update about EMD (exact match domains) which would affect some of them could affect negatively the sell for people aren't sure whether if good idea an EMD or not after this new update

This domain takes the 14-Character-Rule of Domains and "TEARS it a new one". I would highly recommend grace deleting this domain with a mild sense of urgency.

Lastly, I would suggest taking a cold shower ( :ghost and sanitizing your registration work-space. Pay special attention to the ball of your mouse. Then light a scented candle and try again.
