Site Name: NewsToolkit

About: NewsToolkit is a news aggregator that allows people to display the latest news headlines on their websites simply by selecting a few options and then copy/pasting some code.
The general process is the following, a webmaster will goto NewsToolkit.com and then login (either register or use anon service), once logged in they are given a few options that allow them to firstly select the genre of news that they wish to be displayed (this allows webmasters to ensure everything is relevant to the content of their website). They can then customise how the headlines are viewed, e.g. size, font and colour.
- The code of this is automatically generated while these options are selected, allowing the webmaster to copy and paste the generated HTML into their page(s).
The whole process is very simple (feel free to give it a try yourself).
The news is automatically updated every few hours so as owner of the site you wouldnt have to update the site constantly.
Sites that use the services are noted and displayed on http://www.newstoolkit.com/content.aspx along with the 8 sites which use the service the most being displayed on the frontpage.
This site earns no money... take a look at it for yourself, there are no ads on there so of course there is no income. There is the option to make an income by using the service to display paid links along with the headlines, or to sell advertising space on the header frame of the page that opens with the news. You could even have the headlines link to a full page advert before being redirected to the news story. These features are something Ive included as basically Ive no longer got the passion for the site that I once had, but they could be added.
In terms of traffic the site has had just over 1200 uniques this month so far, it averages 2500 uniques a month... this site has never been advertised other than links on this and other webmaster related forums.
There is an admin backend that allows for further blog entries, and also for sites to be deleted from the http://www.newstoolkit.com/content.aspx page, also for the counter to be reset. Thats all Ive ever had to do to the site so there isnt a need for any more admin features.
The site requires Windows hosting as it is an ASP.NET script, I will be willing to provide a Windows hosting account which would be more than sufficient for this site for $5 a month if required.
Im selling the site as it is now, if you want any changes made to the site (such as the option to sell advertising as mentioned as a possible feature previously) then any changes would have to be added after the sale - I'd be willing to do the work myself at a reasonable hourly rate but this can be discussed at a later date.
Looking for offers on this site - will set a BIN if there is a reasonable amount of interest.
