I don't think so at all. It didn't own revolution.com either, nor DS.com or I am sure many others.

It will just use the subdomain on nintendo.com, as it did for revolution.

Yeah i read about this earlier and thought about posting it as a thread- though people would tell me how sick to tears of the wii discussion they are...
i think its interesting that they haven't made any sort of attempt to aquire the domain- you would think they would offer $xxxx to the current owner, who is only using it as a redirection service, just for the opportunity to use it for redirection themselves...
I wonder what would happen if the current owner decided to put a nintendo site on there... bet they'd be interested then, and probably get the lawyers out!
