You cannot ask for appraisals for names you do not own.

It's not allowed and it's bad business practice.

Anyone serious about buying this name would not have asked for it's value in an appraisal section. You don't talk publicly about a name you're interested in dealing with.

Okay, okay. My apologies Binder. I read the forum guidelines and didn't see any rules or information about requesting appraisal advice on domains I don't own. I am new to this and am really sorry if I did something wrong or stupid. I was simply trying to get some idea of the domain's value, and after trying sites like leapfish and siteamount, I decided I could probably get a lot better advice here. Again, my apologies.

No reason to apologize. I just like to try and point it out before everyone without too much experience rush here going "OMGZZZZ YOU OWN IT!??!".

If you need any help with this type of question, I'm sure myself or the more experienced people on this forum would be glad to give you their opinions via private message.

For your benefit as well, don't post your dealings, you never know who might try and contact the person your dealing with and offer them more than you can.
