I am very new to graphic design, and I am totally self taught. Any advice and or help would be appreciated greatly. I thank you in advance for your indulgence.
I was discussing the differences between saving pictures in a high quality jpeg format, a png format, and a general jpeg format.
I used the header of this website as an example of pixels in the image (general jpeg format), surrounding the text of "silver dollar productions"
http://www.silverdollarproductions.net
Then to show what a higher quality jpeg image would look like I showed this picture... indicating that there are no pixels, and though not as sharp as the png format, its clearer than the general jpeg.

I got a few responses that stated that first one looks fine, and the second looks blurry... and/or has pixels.
So my question to you guys is... My screen shows me that the first isn't clear, and the second one is. How can I design anything if my computer isn't rendering the picture properly?
Could this be due to the resolution and or graphic compression of the viewing monitors?
Any help and/or advice is appreciated.
