Newbie mistake

I have just registered 10 names to get me started, but have made a big mistake already.

I live in the UK, and as I'm sure you are aware when registering at GoDaddy there are many screens to go through offering extras, so I went into autopilot and just hit the "next" option.

I purchased a .us name. and have just realised that I should not have done as you have to be US based to buy one of these names.

I hold my hands up and realise you should always read the small print before hitting the "next" button.

But what should I do now? Should I just try to sell on as quickly as possibly or contact GoDaddy?

Any advice would be greatly appreaicated

I registered a .us name when I 1st started out, within a few hours GoDaddy took it off of me and refunded me. You should be ok.

if it was less than 5 days ago, you can email godaddy and ask for a refund.
- select the domain in the control panel and then hit the cancel button at the top right. then reply to the cancellation confirmation email and ask for a refund.

I'm in the UK. I've held some LLL.us domains I picked up from TDNAM in GoDaddy before selling on. Maximum about one month. Had no problems.
I'm not advising you keep it, as that is against the registry rules, but if it's too late for the refund then you'll probably be able to get away with holding it for a while.
