Newbie decisions, subdomain or redirect?

I have www.sold.eu I'd like to make more out of it so I was thinking I could either redirect to my main site www.conrod.co.uk to bump up the traffic, although I don't make much money out of this site. Alternatively I was thinking of offering sub domains but have no idea how this works - could someone point me to a link or advise on what else I can do with it??
