New with AdSense: Measure my performance

hi

would like an expert to measure my ad-performance, as i am totally new with ppc and adsense in specific.

7 clicks from 850 ad impressions, lowest ppc $0.20 and highest $0.86 subject domain related. Is this good performance at all.. am I doing good, bad? poor click thru ratio?

I am currently using one unit from my three to keep my site clean. and i use it as a top 728x90 text only ads banner with matching colours. Never thought i'd enable image banners, would it help me?

My playing around with image banners vs text is that text is better.

On some sites i prefer the 728x90 with the background color changed to match my sites background. I like leaving the font color the standard blue

On other sites i use the vertical skysrapper off the the right side, using the default white background and blue font. This is when i want it to stand out alot.

Good choice then. I always think images would hurt my site overall look.. cause sometimes advertisers use sharp images that do not go well with some colour layouts.
