New Video Card

OK, after talking to my brother, I decided to first buy a new video card for my Everex RS2800 computer, then upgrade the RAM to help alleviate some of the slooooooooooowwwwww screen refreshes, etc I've been experiencing. The computer is running XP Home with 256mb RAM at present and on board video.

I opted for this AGP card:

Only $30.50 delivered for a Chaintech 128mb Volari V3.. seemed like a decent deal. Anyone have one of these?

Next up.. upgrade my RAM to at least 512mb, maybe 1gb asap.

I'm not an expert on video cards but that one looks like a pretty good deal.
I've got a 32mb intergrated video card in my computer, but its alright because I don't really do much gaming on it

Yeah, gaming's not a concern with me but I do watch DVD's on the comp, etc and would be nice to eliminate the choppiness I see on occasion.

Mainly trying to get some of the load off the bus and free up some resources so XP might work a little more smoothly.

Yeah if anything I need some more RAM on my computer. It has 256mb but it's shared with the Video Card. So it gets slow sometimes. :td:
