HP is a respectable make so the computer shouldnt brake down in 5 days ;)

Not sure yet.. For media, gaming, and website development.

The reason that I have only these desktops to choose from is because these are the desktops offered on a "free desktops" website that I'm almost done with (just need 3 more referrals). :)

Yea, I'm probably going with this one because of the specs and because it's HP.

Acer AST160
looks like the overall best system.

Am I the only one who noticed its a 64 bit processor?

It doesnt look as nice on the case side, but the system is overall (with a memory upgrade) the best choice out of that list.

No your not the only one to notice but at the moment there is much point of having a 64 bit processor becuase lots of companys havnt released 64 bit compatible drivers so you will have probelms with hardware ect...
The software that is out at the moment doesnt really take any advagtage of the 64 bit prosessing power.
Wait a 5 - 6 and then the 64 bit cpu will starting to be used to its full potentional.

@Mike_Wiseman:
whats wrong with dell? im using a dell dimension 5150 and havnt had any problems with it.
