New to this whole bussiness

Hey i run a few small sites, but domains have really got my attention over the last few months. Now dont get me wrong im a total noob at this... Im here to learn however i am just wondering... What should be my first moves? Is there space for a 'smaller' time domainer to enter the industry? AM i going to lose alot of money before i start gaining?

Yes and no.

When I first started, I had a budget in mind so only registered a handful of crappy names. I always read this forum though. Through time, I learned what makes a name good or a name bad. I haven't had much success yet, but I'm definitely registering better names and spending less.
