https://www.namepros.com/threads/domaincop-net-new-scam.985655/ Looks like another user has recieved the same
Nope. Never saw that or any similar email. Wonder if after the cited 24 hours has passed a " follow-up " call for action email will be sent to your account.
yes its also good that people like you post them on here so other users dont fall for them. rather than just ignore it.
Lol .. thanks man... @Billy Wagner and @Domain Lead Finder also posted threads about it..we all posted around the same time..
I received that for many domains of mine. Just maked as spam I'm also getting some emails saying your site has been hacked & asking me to contact a lawyer. Did the same as above & didin't even bother to check internet for what it is. Need to get rid of these time wasters
I received this same email less than an hour ago. I see DomainCop.net was just registered today at NameSilo.
Pretend to be a sucker and waste their scam time, the less scam time they have, the less they can scam.
Yup, same here from domaincop.net - plus 3 other similar messages from other senders in the last 12 hours.
I received the same email. Deleted it. The moment you click on the download link, your PC will get infected...
Run a system wide anti-malware scan on your computer. Most anti-virus software can do this by default but I prefer malwarebytes. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
