HI there everybody, I am Atif a newbie in the field of domain names. I actually started watching DomainSherpa shows and got really interested in domain name, domain flipping/investing etc. I bought some domain in the last month and wanted to sell them. Hence, I stumbled upon this forum for selling, guidance, information, networking etc etc.

So how should I start by selling off the domain names that I have. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.

First I would like to know about few things:

1. How long and how much have you studied about domaining?
2. Do you know the basics of domain investing?
3. Do you know what attributes a good domain name should have?
4. Do you know how to price domains while selling?

If you can answer these questions then I am sure you are ready to buy/sell domains.

Some ways to sell your domains :

List your domains for sale at popular marketplaces eg. godaddy, flippa, sedo, namepros etc.

Development your domains and then sell on the same marketplaces

Push your domains to auction eg. Sedo's Direct Auction or Flippa (costs a fee)

Contact potential endusers and make offers directly.

Thanks for the advice. Really its been a crazy ride since I have joined this forum last week. I have sold out my first ever domain clearance batch which I bought when coupon codes were alive & I was chilling in the summers. Every summer (during study breaks) I usually learn a new skill, read books, follow entrepreneurs on the internet and somehow this past summer I stumbled upon domain names! I have to confess, I was hooked! Man domain names sales, domain flipping, acquiring low & selling high really got me going. I then started watching DomainSherpa show hosted by Michael Cyger. I guess I watched every single episode and literally started making notes (to be continued).

I will post shortly what happened on my first week here at NP from getting kicked out of the forum for not knowing the rules to flipping a domain which I literally bought for $1.49 into $200 (not bad for a newbie I guess). And ofcourse sold some of em cheaply too! Lessons Learned I guess.

And yeah what do you think of UsingCloud.com as a domain. Can you do a domain value & price analysis on it. Thanks man. This forum is more than an inspiration!
