Hello! :hi:

I am new to this forum and have only been in domain buying and selling for a few days now.

I got into this cause I was making a website for a little computer repair business me and my friend are starting out and my registrar gave me an extra free name at no charge. So I sat there thinking of a decent name that I could possibly sell.
So thats how I got into it.

My friend is still skeptical about what I'm doing, but I think and know there is alot of potential for income in this business.

My reasoning is this, those commercials we are all familiar with that go like "I'm getting cheques for $15,000 a month!" are not worth getting into. If that was really true they wouldn't be advertising it and they would be doing it themselves solely. I find the businesses that you don't hear about are the ones that have potential as other people don't want you to know about it. Especially domaining as there is only a finite amount of names available and more people in the business equals more competition trying to register those names you really want.

Anyways thats all I have to say. I'm not in the position financially yet but I plan to donate later as other members have done.

Thanks for reading. :hehe:

Yes, money can be made registering names and selling them, but do not overlook the secondary market. Buying already registered names from others and then reselling them can be profitable as well. good luck.
