Before start a new GTLDs, dot Info sold all their keys at Sedo.
How will affect a new GT LDs to our old (com, net, org, cctld)? With starting of dot anything is kill or weak our investment in the com, net, org and our domains will could turn to a slag?

They can buy .web for a start.. but they will realized that .com is the key.
exemple: BOX.net switch for BOX (.com)

Yes, there will be a dilution. There will be less end users for any single extension than there would have been otherwise. Simple supply and demand.

However, the value of the best domain names, such as .com's that are category killers, will rise in value, because their supply will continue to decrease with time and their demand will increase.

Go Daddy New gTLD Trend Report:

[Elliot Silver] received an email from GoDaddy with some trends the company is seeing [regarding pre-registrations of the new gTLD domain names]. Here are some of the trends:

  • Domainers are in the minority as percentage of buyers (Only 7% of total units purchased)
  • Price points matter -- Registries with more affordable price are moving more domain names
.MENU has more than 10x the number of units sold than .LUXURY
  • As we expected, pre-registered names are relevant to the respective domain name extension
.BUILD has a lot of names related to construction industry
.UNO has a lot of Spanish language names

There is a lot of good domains that are registered in .com .net .org .co but if someone really want it.. They can already register it in the .ws or .tk ............. New GTLDS are just bad. I hate putting the DOT in.
The middle of dot phrase.

Context is key. People don't buy things just because they're available. The things that people buy have to mean something to them. The new gTLDs provide context and meaning for people.

Everyone is different, and that is why there will be millions of people who embrace the new gTLDs and millions of people who do not. That's the beauty of a diverse world.

when you buy an engagement ring for your wife, do you

Buy a diamond (.com)

or buy a glass stone (other extensions)

when you have a new start-up, are you going to take the risk
