Netsol's WHOIS privacy doesn't hide the registrant and contact names.
Thanks Guys, I missed that bit
yet another one that will be getting transfered out to Answerable.com where whois privacy is FREE and the reg fee is cheaper than I just paid netsol for privacy that is'nt really privacy IMO !
NetSol need to catch up with the rest of the world regarding their service IMO

I just got their reply >
Thank you for contacting Network Solutions. We are committed to creating the best customer experience possible.
($34.99 for 1 year reg + $9 for privacy - What a bargain !) One of the first ways we can demonstrate our commitment to this goal is to quickly and efficiently handle your recent request.
Based on your concern, please be informed that we cannot hide your name appearing on the WHOIS database. Private Registration can hide your personal information on the WHOIS database such as e-mail address, phone numbers but not the Registrants name
NETWORK SOLUTIONS SUCK !
Their website says >
Why Make My Domain Private?
When you register a domain name, ICANN (the organization that oversees the domain name system) requires your
name, address, e-mail, and phone number to be listed in the public, searchable WHOIS database. Protect this personal information from spam, unsolicited e-mail, or fraudulent activity. Choose Private Registration to make your domain name private and to
keep your personal data hidden in WHOIS.
A bit MISSLEADING I would say if they still show your
name !
Rant over :yell:
