discuss GoDaddy Whois?

For domains that are not under privacy protection at godaddy, they just show the country and state with a link like https://www.godaddy.com/whois/results.aspx?domain=example.com in other places

visiting the link shows the same info showing on whois

so there is noway to find out the owner name/email/phone at godaddy anymore?

i know whats GDPR because I'm an ICANN accredited registrar myself, but it should apply only to European customers, and by choice

not hide all info by default, not all registrars do the same

Some registrars are probably playing it safe. There are differences between registrars (and registries) indeed, how their customers can manage data visible in whois. There are differences between thin and thick whois as well. What State and Country do you see? And for which TLD? Company or individual?
