I was thinking what would be the price of a domain.net comparing it to domain.com? How many times is the .net priced lower than the .com in your opinion?

For example, if a domain.com sells for 100k what would be the .net's price range?

I think the price of domains .net has to be less, but I've always seen it is more expensive than .com

If a .com fetches that much, then surely the buyer could be expected to invest a huge amount on developing the .com into a big brand. So its better to drop the corresponding .net as the owner will have to spend even more to get a brand running on the .net and to retain the visitors.

But if the .com was sold in the mid / low ranges, then there are some chances for the .net, specially if its product name.
