.net price increase... again!

On February 1st Verisign is raising the price of .net domains, 6 months after the last hike!
If this wasn't bad enough some registrars will use this as an excuse to raise their own margin.

What do you think of very soon having .net more expensive than .com names?

Completely true, but I don't care about the new gtld registrations, I care about renewal prices.
Parking / advertising payments decreasing, more competition, buyers wanting to pay less... when expenses increase 10% to 15% per year?
They are squeezing .net prices which can be bad for them as well.

Yep, bot the email today from dynadot that they are raising their bulk and super bulk prices for.net by $1..... not sure about standard pricing.

I paid $8 last year and its $14 today.
