I apologise if this has already been posted, but I cannot stress the importance of this matter enough. Please read the following-
Whether you have heard of Net Neutrality or not does not matter, what does matter is how it could effect you, as an internet user.
What will follow will be part my personal opinion and quotes from www.savetheinternet.com
I urge you all to visit the site, read what they have to say and sign the petition.
Net Neutrality is good, it keeps the playing field level and the internet equal for all users, whether you run a blog, a forum or even if you own Sony or AOL it keeps everyone on the internet equal regardless of how much money they have.
This isnt complete by far, but I would rather you, the reader see for yourself what is going on in congress which is why I urge you again, to visit the site, read and sign the petition at the very least.

Net Neutrality ensures that all users can access the content or run the applications and devices of their choice. With Net Neutrality, the network's only job is to move data โ not choose which data to privilege with higher quality service. Net Neutrality prevents the companies that control the wires from discriminating against content based on its source or ownership.

Who wants to get rid of Net Neutrality?
The nation's largest telephone and cable companies โ including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Time Warner โ want to be Internet gatekeepers, deciding which Web sites go fast or slow and which won't load at all.
Whats At Stake?
On the Internet, consumers are in ultimate control โ deciding between content, applications and services available anywhere, no matter who owns the network. There's no middleman. But without Net Neutrality, the Internet will look more like cable TV. Network owners will decide which channels, content and applications are available; consumers will have to choose from their menu.
This isnt complete by far, but I would rather you, the reader see for yourself what is going on in congress which is why I urge you again, to visit the site, read and sign the petition at the very least.
