this domain name a .com expire last week, I guess the owner just going to let it expire. When I check to see who own the .net a big time corporation own the .net domain name. My question to you guy do you think I should put in a backorder for the .com name? And just pray to the domain gods that I get it

Depends on your risk-benefit threshold, which only you can answer. If it helps
somewhat, try to find out more about the other party in question.

For all you know, they might be placing a backorder for the domain name too.

(Off-topic, but I once got a fax from an end-user who started the letter with
"Dear Domain Name Gods..". Got a chuckle out of that one.)
